EY-EARTHWATCH AMBASSADORS PROGRAM
Since 2009, EY has partnered with ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ to deliver the EY-ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ Ambassadors Program—one of EY’s signature EY Ripples volunteer initiatives focused on environmental sustainability. This immersive program sends high-performing professionals from across the Americas on environmental research expeditions that support local ecosystems and communities.
Over the past 16 years, 485 Ambassadors have participated in 56 expeditions, contributing more than 33,649 volunteer hours. Working alongside scientists and local organizations, they’ve helped track sharks in Florida, study forest owls in the western U.S., and assess sea turtle populations in Costa Rica, among other impactful projects.
The program reflects EY’s commitment to corporate responsibility, environmental stewardship, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. For participants, it’s a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, collaborate across borders, and return with a deeper understanding of EY’s global impact and values.
Together, EY and ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ are helping shape future leaders who care deeply about their impact at work, in their communities, and across the world.
This was an experience of a lifetime. In meeting and collaborating with colleagues across the Americas, we formed personal and professional bonds that will last throughout our careers. The fieldwork that we undertook allowed us to have a significant impact in conservation—the things we learned will stay with us for life and strengthen our resolve in environmental protection.

YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS
ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ depends on donations—above and beyond what we raise from volunteers who participate in our expeditions—to deliver our global conservation mission. In fact, volunteer contributions provide only half of the total resources ÐÓ°ÉÂÛ̳ needs to sustain over 20 global field research expeditions, a wide variety of educational programs, corporate sustainability trainings, and more each year.
